It works closely together with Service Sales management in five regions across the world and is responsible for developing and executing the growth agenda, ie build up the backlog of Service Business and deliver growth Also, the team works closely together with stakeholders in other global functions such as Product Management, Supply Chain Operations, Sourcing and Finance This position will report directly to the Head of Service Costing and will work side by side with experienced professionals and managers in Global Service, Global Wind Turbine Sales Management, Vestas Power Solutions, Product Development and other key business areas.

Responsibilities

• Support in annual service costing projects and ensure deliverables match management expectations
• Perform SCM (Service Cost Model) data analysis and related activities to ensure model reliability and accuracy on service costs forecast
• Ensure projects and costing activities are delivered on time and according to service requirements
• Performing data analysis on actual data and programming large datasets according to service requirements
• Verification of results and its representativeness and communication to management.
  
  
• Responsible for any reliability topic and assessment of failure rates and impact onto the service business
• Global Service SME concerning failure rates and major component types and Weibull parameters
• Perform quantitative analysis to ensure proper set up of costs
• Perform ad-hoc costs and failure rate analysis to support commercial and operational (occasionally) activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master within engineering, mathematics, statistics, finance or the like with focus on quantitative analysis
• +3 years in a similar position and with relevant industry experience, with a preference for energy sector/renewables
• Proficient in programming in R and Python and expert user in related software
• Analytical expertise in cost and failure rate modelling would be an advantage
• Knowledge of SAP, Access, VBA, SQL, Power BI, Microsoft Azure or any database applications are required.
  
  
• Reliability software as Matlab, Reliasoft,
• Knowledge on Dataiku (DSS) and Gitlab is a plus

• Ability to understand costing and pricing principles and how cost model updates might impact the service business
