Job DescriptionAECOM is currently looking for a candidate to be based in Bengaluru with the following skills

• 7+ years of design experience in structural engineering
• Minimum 3+ years of experience working in UK Rail industry with experience in Stations, platform, lineside etc
• Multi D coordination experience, on railway projects(if no UK at least minimum 3+ years of Indian rail/metro Rail experience)
• Experience in leading a small team of Engineers and CAD
• Experience in both Concrete and Steel design RC detailing and BBS check experience.
  
  
• Design experience in general civils work like foundations(pile, raft, pad), retaining walls etc
• Experience in design/assessment of Steel footbridge, stair and lift shaft
• Experience in Software: MIDAS, STAAD PRO, TEDDS, Structural Bridge Design(SBD)
• Preferable Codes: Euro Code, British Standards

Qualifications

• 7+ years of design experience in structural engineering
• Good communication skills, and ability to work well independently at times.
  
  
• Able to see the 'bigger picture' and take a birds-eye view of projects
• Confident, with the ability to work either independently or as part of a team
• Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
• Accountability for assigned work
• Accuracy & precision of work
