Your business:CBA India delivers the Group's information technology and banking operations functions to ensure the highest levels of Stakeholder service through world-class process excellence and technology innovation CBA India partners with all areas of CommBank, including Financial Services to provide specialist advice on financial management and strategy This advice covers finance, audit, treasury, investor relations, security, general procurement and propertyCBA India Finance is responsible for the provision of financial management services to the Business Unit We work closely with Stakeholders to help them understand their technologyYour team:Your team provides business partnering and financial management services to CBA India Private Limited.

Your team's primary roles is to:

• Hold accountability for periodic management and financial reporting and related activities, ensuring the alignment between financial statements, board reporting and management reporting, if required
• Provide finance and business thought leadership with a balanced view on services, risk management, operations, Audit, regulatory environment and industry trends
• Support the annual business planning and forecasting processes, delivering consolidated views and scenarios to the business
• Use influencing skills to develop and implement strategy, collaborating with others both in and outside of your team to achieve common goals

Your Contribution:

• This role is responsible for assisting the CBA India Finance Team in providing financial & commercial support which includes the following preparation of:

• Delivering accurate and timely commercial insights on performance information to key internal and external audiences.
  
  
• Responsible for delivering management reports for monthly BU performance
• Responsible for driving the annual budget and quarterly forecasts process working with various internal and external stakeholders including CBA India LT
• Responsible for driving forward safe, sound and secure financial governance

Your responsibilities:

• Accountable for the monthly management reporting deliverables for CBA India BUs, analysing month end results, monthly variance analysis whilst ensuring data integrity and provision of timely and relevant financial insights, analysis and advice in support of managing the financial performance of the business and delivery of productivity initiatives
• Support your Finance team by providing financial management services and decision support, while building and maintaining strong Stakeholder relationships
• Ad-hoc business & financial analysis which supports timely and high quality business decision making.
  
  
• Identifying and escalating issues and ensuring appropriate risk management and financial control practices are in place
• Assisting with ad-hoc activities and participation in building a corporate governance model consistent with wider Group measures

Your skills & experience:

• Demonstrated experience in accounting and financial management (eg Month end reporting, budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting and analysis)
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience in building and maintaining business relationships
• Advanced MS Excel (incl Pivots) and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated experience with up to 4 years + post qualification (CA/ ICFAI/ CMA/ MBA)/ qualified experience and working with senior stakeholders
