• Clinical Trial Industry Experience
• Clinical Trial Payment Experience
• CTP, TDSE and/or IQVIA Experience
• Excel Macro expertise
• Understanding of BI & Reporting (functional, systems) hands-on experience w BI Tool (preferably Spot Fire)
• Experience in (or understanding of or Interest in) Product / Service Management function
• Experience in (or understanding of or Interest in) Financial: Analysis, Budgeting, Forecasting, Reporting
• Willingness to learn client-facing Forecast analyst role (needed for Forecasting COE Business Analysis)
• Capable of logical, lateral, and multi-functional thinking
• Passion for success, persistence in face of obvious obstacles
• SQL Query experience
• Experience as a Software/technology product or service BA for 3-5 years

Essential Functions:

• Under general direction, formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and requirements

• Ensure full utilization and tailoring of Spotfire platform to match and support business objectives, using agile techniques and strategies

• Consult and liaise with stakeholders to gather and confirm business requirements
• Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications.
  
  
• When volume require, delivers as a Forecast Analyst guides and advises less-experienced Forecast Analysts
• Analyze and consolidate financial information to develop solutions to extract business requirements and to ensure these are achieved
• Lead strategic initiatives to improve the scalability, agility, and efficiency of the Forecasting business solution and processes
• Complete qualitative and quantitative analysis, as required, to identify root causes in the application, and analysis to track effectiveness of improvements The role includes data analysis and system testing
• Partner with key stakeholders to identify how business requirements can be delivered to ensure improved user experiences and reduced cost and time impacts
• Forecasting COE Knowledge Management
• Competent to work at the highest technical level of most phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment
• Conduct feasibility studies of applications and system solutions
• Create test scenarios for applications and enhancements, ensuring functional requirements are met

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Finance or Business Administration, Master's referred
• 5-7 years of systems analysis experience
• 2 years of experience working with Microsoft Power BI or Spotfire
• 2 years of experience working with Jira
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite - Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Outlook, etc
• High level of commitment and ownership
• Demonstrated ability to understand client requirements as well as underlying infrastructure applications, systems, and processes
• Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, develop solutions, and craft high quality executive presentations
• Creative thinker that can generate innovative ideas, work collaboratively, and lead a cross-functional team of stakeholders to drive execution.
