Your main focus will be to:

• Support Financial Control and Accounting in APAC and in India transformation journey by implementing modern HR solutions
• For Financial Control and Accounting APAC, the role responsibility includes:
  • Strategically drive and lead the HR for FCA - APAC
  • Role also involves having direct responsibility as the HRBP for Singapore
  • Represent Financial Control and Accounting in the Singapore and India HR Country Committee
  • Participate in Business Review Meetings for APAC
• In India, specifically to AS, this role responsibility includes
  • Driving people, culture, diversity, operations and financial agenda for the business
  • Working with Site Head to finalize training programs to achieve the People agenda per the AS House priorities
  • Driving People agenda keeping in view the complexity of operations and the diverse workforce
  • Meeting the financial targets given for HR in AS India
  • Work with Operations to identify key Talent, nurture and grow key Talent
  • Working with Site Head to identify & train on competencies for the team to make them future growth ready
• Advise and coach India Site Accounting Management and APAC CMT Members team on the implementation of HR processes and other critical initiatives
• Strategic contribution to meeting business objectives through workforce planning, recruiting, competence reskilling and upskilling, organizational design and development
• Act as a change agent where you drive engagement by creating a trusting relationship with colleagues and senior leaders to enable a culture of continuous improvement and growth mindset
• Secure global alignment on key HR initiatives
• Champion the Volvo culture as well as assure alignment of management actions with Volvo Group values and principles
• Working on HR strategic projects and supporting Operations on global projects which impact People & Competency
• Responsible for People Management having two HRBPs as direct report

Who are you

• You have experience in working with HR in a global business environment in senior roles
• Experience in coaching and facilitation principles to help drive transformation and change in the organization
• Ability to work with a degree of ambiguity, in a matrix environment and adaptable to change
• You show courage and integrity with the ability to build trust and confidence
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Demonstrated experience in labor law and regulations
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Human resources, Business Administration or a related field
