Senior Manager Data Modeler Job In Indigo In Gurgaon / Gurugram, Gurugram

Job DescriptionIndiGo is using Data to propel the organization forward improving customer value and experience For this we are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to work with us to help us design the data ecosystem of the futureIn this role reporting to the Head of Data & Analytics, you will be working closely with the IndiGo's architecture team to architect an enterprise-wide data ecosystem in alignment with target reference architecture to enable IndiGo's business and digital strategy You will be responsible for the foundational architecture and roadmap for the data platform, enterprise data model, master data management, provision data as service (using micro-services/APIs/events), AI/ML models, etc

• Define and manage the overall Data Architecture & strategic roadmap for IndiGo.
  
  Present the vision & value of proposed architectures and solutions to a wide range of audiences in alignment with business priorities and objectives
• Identify important potential technologies and approaches to address current and future Data needs, evaluating their applicability and fit, as well as leading the definition of standards and best practice for their use
• Build solution design & implementation of large-scale futuristic data architecture, real-time data pipelines for data curation, feature engineering and machine learning on enterprise/open-source tools, transitioned data & AI workloads to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc)
• Evaluate, standardize, and promote data governance tools in enforcing Data Catalog, Reference & Master Data Management, Data Warehousing, BI & Analytics, Data Pipelines Participate in creating and maintaining data governance workflows to improve the organization's data management maturity
• Provide architectural & design leadership to data engineering team by establishing processes, standards, framework, and reusable components on the data platforms.
  
  
• Provide technical solutions that assist business goals and align with Product NFR goals like performance, reliability, scalability, usability, security, flexibility, and cost
• Conduct data management maturity assessment and measure the effectiveness of the governance process and recommend improvement changes
• Conduct Proof-Of-Technology/Concept for the new services/platforms evaluating various emerging technologies in the Big Data landscape on Cloud Also, explain and recommend the advantages of various technology alternatives
• Build comprehensive tests (integrity, accuracy and quality) to create confidence in the data
• Triage new requirements, provide impact assessments and appropriate estimates for amending data models in line with solution designs and requirements.
  
  
• Work with a multi-technology / cross-functional teams and customer stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions
• Develop detailed knowledge of the appropriate corporate data standards and of the appropriate professional and/or legal data standards

Experience and Skill Requirements

• Extensive (10-12 yrs+) years practical IT architecture experience and 5+ years of experience in driving Meta data architecture and Master Data Management Solutions
• Have a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving with demonstrable verbal and written communications skills
• Strong knowledge of architecture methodologies, principles and frameworks and has practical experience of defining technology domain roadmaps.
  
  
• Proficient in Information modelling using tools and techniques (manual or automated) which can be used to document an understanding of the structure, relationships and use of information within an organization
• Have a great understanding of how to build a data model that underpins Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing and automated translation engines
• Strong understanding of activities within primary discipline such as Master Data management (MDM), Metadata Management and Data Governance (DG)
• Familiar with industry best practices on data management (eg.
  
  , DAMA)
• Extensive experience in data modelling and working with API based data exchange
• Expertise in enterprise data governance, data security, data quality, data lineage tools
• Be a self-starter who is self-sufficient with a cost-conscious way of working
• Hands - on experience with large - scale data environments, capacity planning, performance tuning, and monitoring
• Monitor the ever-changing technology landscape, provide recommendation to best support IndiGo's data-centric vision
• Support technology cost analysis and capacity planning
• Good to have ML Experience in general
