GCS has recently established Business Blueprint as a new line of business Business Blueprint is the company's new digital cash flow management hub designed exclusively for small businesses, which features cash flow insights, digital financial products, and an easy way to reach and manage their Business Card and Business Checking products Within Blueprint organization, sits Business Operations team that focusses on driving Blueprint strategy by executing key processes for product enablement, customer experience, controls, data governance, and technology support We are looking for a Manager who will play a key role in executing operational processes that support the Blueprint strategy Responsibilities
- Ensuring an effective and robust framework is in place to enable the Business Blueprint to accept, manage or mitigate materials risks/issues
- Actively supporting the product in delivering change, ensuring that governance processes are crisp, efficient and effective
- Act as a liaison between Product Managers (PM)and risk/compliance partners, and ensure product is striking the right balance of customer experience & robust controls
- Be plugged into the latest trends and industry best practices in risk/compliance space, and share with product team
- Work with PMs to proactively identify product features that require specific risk and/or compliance input
- Serve as the point of contact to work with partners, e.
g OE, LOBCO, GSG to comply with Amex product launch requirements, eg RAQ, CAT, etc - Partner with Operational Excellence and ensure that there is an effective framework for Process Management that ensures processes are well designed, meet applicable requirements, are supported through robust controls, testing, and appropriate investment in capabilities
- Timely & effective resolution of risks and issues, supported by an effective preventive framework to identify& eliminate their root causes
- Ensuring risks related to 3rd Parties, Partners & Legal Entities are managed in line with regulatory & AXP expectations
- Play an integral role with audit readiness and support all key audits/exams (internal/external)
- Support decommissioning of products (including Merchant Financing & Payment Protection Program/Services)
Qualifications
- You are an experienced leader who is a structured thinker with strong problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills, and the ability to translate information and analysis into actionable customer and operations insights and recommendations
- You are a highly organized and professional individual with an ability to demonstrate keen attention to detail, adaptability, flexibility, resourcefulness and efficiency
- You have excellent project management experience, organization, and prioritization skills and a proven ability to manage cross-functional, large/complex initiatives
- You have experience working in a highly collaborative, matrixed environment, developing relationships across organizational boundaries and influencing without direct authority
- You have demonstrated leadership skills with proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels of organization.
