Qualification :Post Graduate Degree/DM/DNB or Diploma in the Specialty from University recognized by State/Central Government If such candidate are not available in particular Specialty, then candidate without PG qualification but having at least three years experience after MBBS out of which one year Junior Residency in Government hospital or MCI recognized private hospital in the concerned specialty can be considered for a period of one year only, subject to the condition that fresh selection process has to be done by end of one year Extension for another year will be allowed to these MBBS doctor with three years experience if again no candidate with Diploma/PG/ DNB/DM apples The total period of such extension will be limited to three years of total senior residency as in senior residency scheme

Emoluments : For Sr.

Resident having post graduate Degree pay Rs 18750/- 6600 (grade Pay) = Rs 25350/- other relevant allowances as per Rly Board’s guidelines issued tom time to (approx total emoluments is Allowance NPA (Non Practicing Allowance) The element of such allowance being included in emoluments indicated above.

DMW is a state-of-the-art Production Unit of the Indian Railways having integrated facilities to manufacture, upgrade & rehabilitate Locomotives and extend maintenance support to the Diesel Locomotive fleet of Indian Railways by providing high precision components and sub assemblies. Diesel Component Works (DCW) was set up at Patiala with the laying of foundation stone on October 24, 1981 and production started in 1986. The Midlife Rehabilitation of Diesel Locomotives was started in 1989 after a service life of 18 years.
