Senior Test Engineer Murex Job In Commonwealth Bank In Bengaluru / Bangalore, India

Job Description:You are:

• Someone who understands that making great software requires the prevention of problems and not just finding them

• To achieve the above, you would have been working in the QA domain for at least 5 years
• You have 8-10 or more years of experience in quality assurance for end-to-end product in Murex
• Experience coaching others on quality assurance and testing
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken
• You have a Bachelor's degree in a related field
• You are able to allocate time efficiently handle multiple demands and competing priorities
• You have strong problem-solving skills and analytical ability

Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A minimum of 5 - 7 years' experience
• Some experience in SQL Database is preferred
• Murex Functional Knowledge of various banking and capital market asset classes,
• MXtest/Onyx, Selenium or any other similar Automation tools work experience

You will be responsible for:You will be embedded in a development team to help deliver features in Enlighten's software as a service offering You will assess and mitigate risks, solve quality challenges, and implement changes to improve engineering efficiency You will primarily coach developers on quality assurance and proactively seek out information on how the system should work There will be some performing of manual tests and writing automated tests.

This involves following an agile methodology:

• Pairing with developers to train them on efficient testing techniques (including exploratory testing)
• Analysing defects to identify the optimal way to prevent reoccurrences in the future
• Assist product management and developers in the production of specifications
• Assist developers in the production of test plans
• Assist developers in the development of test conditions and test cases
• Assist developers in the creation of test data
• Ongoing assessment of test automation suites to find opportunities for improvement
• Some execution of tests and documentation of test results
• Contributing to postimplementation support
