Key responsibility area and main tasks: -To provide service Support to customer onsite and remote as need on Delivery installation, SAT (Site acceptance testing), NPI, Repairs, Calibration and other technical support for all Orbis Systems supplied products -Be onsite to perform Scheduled preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance such that we meet Contract /LSA agreed terms of Uptime Description of the job (main tasks, supporting tasks, reporting line, main areas of responsibilities, etc) -Responsible for timely after sales service, technical support, Onsite Installations/Ramp up Functions -To perform onsite Repairs of Orbis Systems supplied RF test systems & Products, including RF measurement system, ICT functional test system, electrical, electronics, electro-mechanical & mechanical sub-systems, and OTA systems -Perform onsite Calibration of RF measurement system & products -Capable of handling Automated fixture/test system on customer site -Capable of handling Test sequence (SW modifications) based on OS platform to meet customized requirements -Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, system upgrades etc -Work with the customer to suggest appropriate spare parts Requirements to reduce device down time -Collect customer feedback to products and convey to design team -To Prepare weekly /monthly reports and maintain records pertaining to all repairs, replacement parts, calibrations and modifications of the work done / issues to be handled -To meet other tasks assigned by supervisor -Participate in Orbis Systems service, sales and engineering team reviews locally and globally Possibilities for further development & career outlook -This position creates possibilities to work in service team to move from technician to product specialist to team leader.
-This position also allows moving across to other functions such as Engineering, R&D etc depending on Skills, past performance and company needs - Education Qualification: -Technical degree (Bachelor) - Electronics and Communication Engineering / Instrumentation and Control Engineering / Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering / Electrical and Electronics EngineeringWork Experience: -5+ years' experience in professional electronics/telecommunication industry service hands on -Good Experience in Test system support, including RF measurement technology, Automation, -Electrical and Mechanical relative maintenance -Strong know-how of troubleshooting, identifying faults & finding innovative solutions -Experience with Communication Test & Measurement integration system like base station test system will be helpful -Familiar with 5G RF & OTA and Automation test technologies, solutions and applications will considered as key selection factor Special skills/requirements for the job: -Strong manipulative ability & willing to learn new things -Basic understanding of tests and measurements concept & understanding of testing technology and related trends -Must be able to communicate with customers and stakeholders (internal/external) -To be prepared for Flexible working hours, willing to travel a lot -This position needs person who has strong experience to work independent.
