We invite you to explore opportunities with CubicJob Details:Job Summary: Supports the financial analysis, forecasting, reporting and accounting functions Assists in preparing Plans, management presentations and schedules and other ad-hoc requests Has understanding of our business model and the associated cost drivers Has an understanding of our projects and how projects fit in the organization financials.

Works with the regions to fill information requests ensuring that the requests are understood and that the data provided back is accurate Provide support to Cubic with the planning tool, ensuring data flows accurately and that forecast are accurate This position typically works under general supervision and direction Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authorityEssential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develops cost benefit and productivity analyses and assists in preparing cost improvement plans
• Assists with the creation and update of monthly management presentation to provide company leadership with insight into the company financial performance
• Develops and automates reporting on key business financial performance metrics than could be rolled out across all business units maintains financial and operational KPI reports
• Supports the preparation of consolidated financial budgets and quarterly and monthly forecasts
• Performs variance analysis research and explain the root cause of variances and financial challenges
• Support the preparation and consolidation of Plan and Outlook in the SAP Planning tool
• Experience in pulling data from complex BI systems and automate reports
• Assists in the implementation of critical business systems to meet Cubic planning and reporting requirements
• Participates in financial due diligence exercises as needed
• Prepares and Provides quality ad-hoc analyses and financial information for company leadership
• Assists in the financial analysis of possible acquisitions, divestitures, major capital expenditures or other specific projects, as needed
• Prepares other financial reports or analyses, as needed
• Develops strong working relationships and understanding of the company's products and services, to facilitate highly effective team working, understanding of opportunities and root cause of financial challenges

Minimum Job Requirements: Four year degree in finance/accounting plus a minimum four years of experience in a financial reporting or cost accounting environment.

Specific previous experience with long-term contract accounting, foreign currency translation and financial planning preferred Ability to interface with all levels of workers, management, internal and external auditors Possess strong skills using Excel and PC based accounting systems, SAP experience preferred Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on maintaining excellent and accessible documentation Ability to use a personal computer for extended periods of time.
