To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
- 8 to 12 years of firmware development experience in C, C++
- Experience of working with communicating protocols eg I2C, SPI, RS232, RS485, Modbus
- RTOS (any RTOS) based application development in C, RTOS concepts (eg, VX Works is an added advantage)
- Hands on development experience on 32-bit processors
- Exposure to embedded development, HW and Systems knowledge
- Understanding of OOPS concept
- Unit testing tools (e.
g, google test, CPP unit, gmock), debugging - Nice to have knowledge Python
- Familiarity in windows programming is an added advantage
- Analyze and understand the Software/Functional Requirements Specification
- Creates (detailed) design within specified top-level design
- Skillset in C/C++ based firmware development
- Contributes to Features/User stories for modules/SDS /Test strategy
- Performs unit testing of the code
- Provides technical guidance in a technical, functional/domain area and participates in technical decisions
- Participates in peer reviews for project artifacts and ensure the quality of deliverables
- Supports in project estimation, planning and risk management activities
- Keeps abreast of technical developments in own field through study, technical contacts and propagate it
- Good communication skills, debugging skills on Windows
- Bachelor's degree/ Master's Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Science Engineering or Equivalent
- Overall 8 to 12 years of experience in software development
- Strong programming experience in C and C++ with windows
- Experience working with C++ GUI libraries is a plus
- Experience & firm knowledge in software design concepts and design patterns
- Experience in the system design and implementation of complex, multi-generation, SW products
- Experience with Agile methodology, tools and practices
- Familiar with client-server and distributed environments
- Proven working experience in global, multidiscipline environment
- Preferable - Exposure to healthcare domain
