To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• 8 to 12 years of firmware development experience in C, C++
• Experience of working with communicating protocols eg I2C, SPI, RS232, RS485, Modbus
• RTOS (any RTOS) based application development in C, RTOS concepts (eg, VX Works is an added advantage)
• Hands on development experience on 32-bit processors
• Exposure to embedded development, HW and Systems knowledge
• Understanding of OOPS concept
• Unit testing tools (e.
  
  g, google test, CPP unit, gmock), debugging
• Nice to have knowledge Python
• Familiarity in windows programming is an added advantage
• Analyze and understand the Software/Functional Requirements Specification
• Creates (detailed) design within specified top-level design
• Skillset in C/C++ based firmware development
• Contributes to Features/User stories for modules/SDS /Test strategy
• Performs unit testing of the code
• Provides technical guidance in a technical, functional/domain area and participates in technical decisions
• Participates in peer reviews for project artifacts and ensure the quality of deliverables
• Supports in project estimation, planning and risk management activities
• Keeps abreast of technical developments in own field through study, technical contacts and propagate it
• Good communication skills, debugging skills on Windows
• Bachelor's degree/ Master's Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Science Engineering or Equivalent
• Overall 8 to 12 years of experience in software development
• Strong programming experience in C and C++ with windows
• Experience working with C++ GUI libraries is a plus
• Experience & firm knowledge in software design concepts and design patterns
• Experience in the system design and implementation of complex, multi-generation, SW products
• Experience with Agile methodology, tools and practices
• Familiar with client-server and distributed environments
• Proven working experience in global, multidiscipline environment
• Preferable - Exposure to healthcare domain
