Software Test Engineer Pressure And Temperature Job In Emerson In India, Pune

JOB DESCRIPTIONAS AN ENGINEER, YOU WILL:

• Report to the local EICP Software Test Leader
• Work with Global Software Leader to facilitate product knowledge and develop quality culture
• Work with cross-functional and global teams to develop and support Emerson's pressure and temperature industrial measurement products
• Develop test strategies for test automation (90%) and manual testing (10%)
• Execute the test development process including designs, reviews, and implementation (C#)
• Work with a team to design and implement automated tests and test infrastructure
• Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle from requirements definition through post-release activities
• Carry out continuous improvement to the software test processes
• Collaborate with Software developers
• Be Innovative and contribute to the quality development culture within organization

WHO YOU ARE:You relate comfortably with people across levels, functions, cultures, and geography You are a self-motivated, team-oriented individual who can set and achieve goals You are interested in learning, problem solving, and you collaborate well with others You work with other functional groups that includes Software Design and User Interface Software REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Bachelorof Science inComputer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering
• 2-5 years of applicable experience
• Knowledgeable in microcontroller-based Pressure & Temperature Transmitter products, and prototype verification and testing.
  
  
• Experience with requirements-based, black box, and grey box testing
• Experience with software test techniques andmethodology
• Experience with test automation
• Ability to flex working hours to accommodate global time differences

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Experience working with international teams
• Interest and experience with embedded firmware systems
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
