The Role ResponsibilitiesProject Test Delivery
- Identify and analyse issues in requirements, design specifications, application architecture as well as product documentations
- Develop test specifications / cases / scenarios based on various requirement documents within schedule constraints
- Develop test bed and verify test environments (based on project requirements)
- Coordinate Automation regression packs to ensure that requirements from previous scope are still functioning as before
- Perform functional and technical test execution activities (where applicable) as per project engagement.
- Coordinate non-functional test execution activities (performance testing, where applicable) as per project engagement
- Identify and is familiar with negative testing, to be included in the developed test specifications
- Constant communication and follow up with various stakeholders during test planning and execution phases
- Log software application defects (in standard defect management tools) and track it to closure
- To collaborate / troubleshoot with the development and delivery team for technical issues that requires result analysis and feedback.
- Able to work independently as well as a team in providing out-of-the box solution if required
- Report and update test status promptly and accurately
Process and Compliance
- Good understanding and able to apply test processes laid down within Testing Framework, and / or standards as defined by project and SCB
- Comply with the software quality management practices and policies (defined by SDF)
- Assist Test Manager in documenting relevant test deliverables.
Customer and Service Focus
- Responsive to customer and project needs, as well as managing customer expectations
- Establish a close working rapport with project team to understand issues and risks underlying the project
Our Ideal Candidate
- BE / BTech / MCA
- 10 - 12 years of experience
Must Have
- Good testing and analytical skill
- Good writing and communication skills
- Good understanding and experience in projects
- Proficient in SQL Queries
- Proficient in ETL Testing
- 10 years of test experience is preferable
- ETL Automation experience is preferable
Nice to Have
- ISTQB Certification - Foundation
- Knowledgeable in the banking domain is a plus.
