Job Responsibilities:
Utilize telephone solicitation, electronic and written correspondence and face-to-face meetings as tools in order to reach and exceed the budgeted sponsorship target for each conference.
To research and develop a list of potential sponsors for each conference.
To Research and develop a list of potential exhibitors when required.
Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential sponsorship clients and exhibitors.
To Keep precise records of conversations with all clients, sponsors and exhibitors.
Update the company database as required.
To Invoice sponsors and exhibitors once agreements have been reached.
To assist in preparing promotional material to advertise sales opportunities.
To maintain knowledge of conference timelines and sponsorship deadlines.
Background Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Previous work in telesales, phone based marketing, and/or business-to-business sales.
Demonstrate fluency in both written and spoken English.
Excellent communication skills and telephone manner.
Highly motivated, ambitious and constantly striving for excellence and success.
Customer focused and knows how to build and maintain relationships.
Self-motivation/drive with a work-ethic based on never giving up.
Results oriented.
