DC Infra Engineer Min 5 years of experience in Linux (RHEL 6, 7, 8 & Ubuntu 14, 16, 18) OS administration Min 5 years of experience in VMware virtualization administration Experience in installing Linux/ Unix servers, configuring networks and storage devices Experience in setting up Linux/Unix clusters for high availability Able to perform Bash Shell scripting or any other scripting Exposure to monitoring tools for monitoring of enterprise servers Exposure to build ESXi Host and VMs in Linux environment Experience in Physical to virtual / Virtual to Virtual migration Experience in Containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is an added advantage Automation experience is desired Understanding of ITIL concepts Self-motivated and team-oriented Experience in Financial Services industry is a plus Good to have:o Basic routing and networking skillso Dell Server and Storage (Poweredge, Unity, XtremIO)o HP Server and Storage (Proliant, Storeonce, 3Par, Nimble)o Basic middleware skills (Apache, Tomcat, Postfix, etc)Responsibility Responsible for day to day operation and maintenance of Linux servers and vSphere-based virtualization environment Participate in infrastructure implementation project, on system implementation for production, testing and development, disaster recovery Involved in Incident Management/Change Management/Problem Management and ensure ticket / issue are solve within SLA Plan and perform system maintenance, OS and security patches Troubleshoot and report system incident/problems and anomalies Create and maintain operational documentation and reports Setup IT policies, standard operating procedures, change management to ensure standardized environments Create/build and maintain scripts to automate the support of Linux based servers Manage vendor in day to day operation and infrastructure projects
