Sr Manager Quality Job In Danfoss In India

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Senior Manager - Quality who will be leading the quality function in our RAC segment & will be responsible for the following,

• Drive development of a zero defect and customer oriented quality mindset of all employees within the organization
• Ensure that our local QMS and execution of processes meets the requirements of the RC QMS
• Ensure that the local organization know about, and fulfil agreed customer specific requirements
• Ensure that employees in the organization have the right quality competencies to execute the QMS processes
• Drive overall continuous improvement process related to quality (by improving process stability and capability)
• Drive the activity, cohesion and development of the local quality team through leadership

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure that the local management system is compliant to agreed customer requirements, IATF16949, RC QMS and other agreed requirements
• Ensure that the RC-QMS system and processes are implemented in the local QMS
• Ensure that the organization is monitoring the effectiveness of the system (KPI's)
• Ensure that R&R for QMS and processes is defined and understood by employees
• Develop needed SOP's and instructions to effectively execute the QMS processes
• Ensure that CSR are deployed in the local organization, system and processes
• Act as management representative in relation to the local QMS and lead the Management Review Process with the local management team
• Ensure that quality audit plans (system, processes and products) is planed and executed in the organization and control that corrective and preventive actions is implemented by the organization
• Ensure given quality targets is deployed and understood by the organization and R&R is defined to drive continuous improvements on system, processes & products
• Ensure that customer and KPI driven quality plans are developed by the organization in order to meet the quality targets of the organization
• Ensure that the quality plans within own area of responsibility is executed and monitor the execution of the overall quality plan within the organization.
  
  

Background & Skills

• Graduation in Engineering with 10 to 15 years of experience in Quality function
• Should have 10 to 15 years of working experience in manufacturing sector
• Should have strong knowledge & exposure on IATF 16949 Requirements
• Should be a strong communicator & should have cross functional awareness
