SRF Bioinformatics job opportunities in Indian Agricultural Statistics Research Institute (IASRI) on contractual basis

Name of Projects: Phenomics of Moisture Deficit Stress Tolerance and Nitrogen Use Efficiency in Rice and WheatPhase II (Funded by National Agricultural Science Fund, ICAR)

Essential Qualification: Master’s in Bioinformatics/ Computer Science / Computer Application/ Agricultural Statistics/ Statistics or equivalent with 4 years or 5 years of Bachelor’s degree
Candidates having Master’s degree in basic sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and two years Master’s degree should have NET qualification

Desirable: Expertise in database development, development of phenome data bank and virtual phenomics facility, data archiving and maintenance Development of image analysis algorithms, APIs and IAPs
Knowledge in System Biology/ Statistical and computational Genomics/Bioinformatics Knowledge of programming in LINUX/R/Perl/JAVA/PHP/J SP and use of various software & tools.
