SSC CGL 2020-21 Notification : Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has a released a short notice regarding the Combined Graduate Level Examination 2020 As per SSC CGL 2020 Notice, the candidates should submit their application for SSC CGL 2020 through online mode much before the 31 January 2021 in order to avoid technical glitches
The notice reads, "It is hereby reiterated in the interest of the candidates that aspiring candidates for Combined Graduate Level Examination-2020, should submit their online application much before the closing date ie 31.
012021 and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/ inability or failure to login to the website on account of heavytraffic onthe servers during the closing days"

Educational Qualification:
Assistant Audit Officer Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University/ Desirable Qualification: CA/CS/MBA/Cost & Management Accountant/ M.Com/ Masters in Business Studies
Statistical Investigator Grade-II - Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects. The candidates must have studied Statistics as a subject in all the three years of the graduation course
Junior Statistical Officer - Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level or Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
All other Posts - Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent. The candidates appearing in the final year of their graduation can also apply
Citizenship:
A candidate must be either:
a citizen of India, or
a subject of Nepal, or
a subject of Bhutan, or
a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January,1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar),Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

This commission is an attached office of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) which consists of Chairman, two Members and a Secretary-cum-Controller of Examinations. His post is equivalent to the level of Additional Secretary to the Government of India. The Estimates committee in the Parliament recommended the setting up of a Service Selection Commission in its 47th report (1967–68) for conducting examinations to recruit lower categories of posts. Later, in the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, on 4 November 1975 Government of India constituted a commission called Subordinate Service Commission. On 26 September 1977, Subordinate Services Commission was renamed as Staff Selection Commission. The functions of Staff Selection Commission were redefined by The Government of India through Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and on 21 May 1999. Then the new constitution and functions of Staff Selection Commission (SSC) came into effect from 1 June 1999. Every year SSC conducts the SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination for recruiting non-gazetted officers to various government jobs.
