Support Engineer Job In Fingent In Kochi

Job Summary :

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to provide manage, monitoring and Support for Open Stack Cloud based environment In this role you will provide technical end-user support to our Cloud customers, Developers and end users You will be working on Unix and Windows based systems You should have sound understanding on Cloud Platforms, Virtualization and Open Source technologies

Job Responsibilities:

Manage, monitor, maintain, and support multiple cloud-based environments.


Perform issue identification and fix where feasible
Install cloud management infrastructure
OS tuning and Hardening servers
Manage Containers and Docker
Administration of UNIX-based operating system, networking
Automation using scrips(bash,shell etc.

)
Work closely with development engineers

Required Skills:

4+ years of IT industry experience, with at least 4 years of experience with Unix (preferably RHEL, Ubuntu ) system configuration, and administration
2+ years of experience with virtualization technologies
Preferably a Certified Engineer with skills and experience
Knowledge of unix containers and container orchestration
Familiarity with some sort of scripting language such as Bash,shell,Python etc
Knowledge in automation tools like Jenkins,Ansible
Configuration experience with monitoring tools like Nagios
Knowledge in Configuration and maintenance of Backup (DB, Application, OS etc.

)
Knowledge of Zimbra Mail Server
Knowledge in Windows Server Administration is an added advantage
Familiarity in REST APIs
Help desk experience
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with others to solve problems
Knowledgeable and familiar with open source technologies
Excellent time management, decision-making, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work in a 24/7 environment.
