Systems Engineer Network Services Job In Lionbridge In Mumbai, India

We are searching for a 'Systems Engineer - Network Services' to join our Global Technology Services team The Systems Engineer's primary focus is day-to-day operations of Lionbridge's datacenters and global data networks In this role, you are focused on monitoring business-critical systems to prevent delays and outages in our high-availability datacenter and global networks You work as part of a team, finding and resolving irregularities and performance issues You help coordinate and execute change projects to IT backend systems and environments, working with other Corporate IT teams, focusing on our global WAN network, firewalls, load balancers and switches, as well as connectivity to public clouds and customer networks.

Experience: 5+ years What you will do:

• Coordinate and implement changes to IT backend system and environments working with other Corporate IT teams
• Perform research and analysis of reported problems and issues, develop and recommend solutions
• Maintain configuration management tools and processes to support configuration identification, control, reporting, and delivery of IT services/systems
• Involvement in operational planning, creating standard operating procedures and policies
• Must be highly organized and capable of performing multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and take part in 247 work rotations

To be successful you will have:

• Bachelor of Science (BS) or Master of Science (MS) in Information Technology, Information Systems or its equivalent
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Broad infrastructure experience and competence in areas of IT Networking, including configuration of switches, firewalls, routers, SD-WAN, Load Balancers etc.
  
  
  • Particular focus on Cisco ASA, Checkpoint Firewall, Versa SDWAN, Cisco Nexus, Cisco ASR/ISR, and F5 Big-IP platforms
• Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with working in a global team across multiple time zones
