Role Responsibilities Strategy
- This role is for a Developer in Temenos Data Source (TDS) Chapter of the Client Journeys (CJ) Hive As a key member of CJ Hive and responsible for providing Solution Design, Low-level Technical solutions, Coding, maintain Development Standards and expert advice to our banking clients on the configuration of Temenos Data Source (TDS) and associated API/Interface developments throughout all stages of projects from initiation to post-live support Managing Agile squad members and ensuring delivery of high-quality software that meets functional and non-functional requirements The role holder will form a key part of a fast-paced, ambitious, delivery programme
The Candidate should have strong core banking and/or Private Wealth Management domain experience in a Temenos Wealth Suite projects and strong implementation exposure in API integration and Market Data Products.
The candidate should have strong stakeholder management and communication skills should possess strong implementation background on the development lifecycle
- As a Developer, responsible for implementing end-to-end solution for Market data setup in TDS platform
- Implement the technical Solution in TDS platform and to meet the end user requirement
- Responsible for Surround systems, Market data Provider adaptor configuration and Deployment
- Responsible for drafting Technical Solution Document, Engaging in Architectural discussion and implement solution in TDS
- Responsible for setting up Test instrument data and build the Workflow for end-to-end Instrument Master setup
- Responsible for Unit Testing, System Testing and hand-over to end users for Release qualification
- Troubleshoot and resolve the issues that are arising in the TDS platform
- Build Monitoring tools, Batch automation and writing Linux scripts for batch jobs
- Support Production incidents, Issues and troubleshoot them to resolve the issues
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in core banking implementation especially in Wealth suite implementation
- Good programming skill required to work on Temenos data source (TDS).
Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of TDS - Technical skills like Java, Shell Script, Control-M, Jboss, GIT, Oracle PL/SQL, Maven
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Good understanding of the Instrument Data and Market Data Adapters
- Good Exposure to Temenos Data Source (TDS) Architecture/Setup
- Good Problem-solving skills
- Good Knowledge of setting up Enterprise Schedulers like Control M
- Good understanding of working in Agile projects in Scrum models
- Knowledge of Agile Lifecycle Management tools, such as Jira / Confluence
Business
- The Specialist (Technology Tools) will be a key member of Regulatory Technology Team and responsible for delivering the various technology and vendor solutions used in Regulatory Technology .
The role holder will form a key part of a fast-paced, ambitious, delivery programme - Delivery of application rationalisation and cloud adoption within approved budget
- Partners with other technology teams in the Bank including Security, Networks, and others to ensure shared deliverables are designed properly

- Coordinate work with all workstream and facilitate scrums to track and report progress and unblock impediments
- Drive the Agile Transformation of the team to the new Ways of Working in alignment with Agile practice and usage of collaboration tool (Confluence, JIRA)
- Develop opportunities for process standardization and efficiency across hive delivery portfolio.

- Have overall software development experience of 3 to 6 years
- Work experience in creating Micro Services, Restful Services & JSON API's
- Work experience in creating Restful Services & JSON API's
- Work experience using XML, Xpath, XSL and XSLT, Crank for Java
- Proficient in using Java, Multithreading & collections
- Knowledge of Agile process/methodologies
- The desire to work in fast-paced environment.
- Ability to develop unit testing of code components or complete applications
- Creativity is always a plus
- Knowledge of Dev Ops tools like Ansible, GIT, Jenkins etc
- Experience working on a variety of software development projects
- Deep programming language knowledge.
- Knowledge & experience in Java/J2EE, Angular JS, API, MQ, Shell scripting, Basic Unix commands & Solace Development
