Job Title: Team Lead Pricing Services Group ANZObjective of Role To support Life & Health Actuarial team, and to provide advice and technical expertise in respect of product initiatives throughout Life &Health business of Swiss Re in ANZ Key Accountabilities

• Key contributor working for ANZ group pricing team to conduct pricing reviews for existing business and to tender for new business
• Support experience studies requirements for pricing and valuation purpose
• Progressing the application of data analytics, including monitoring experience and forward looking risks, to deliver insights to clients
• Develop team's skillset by playing an active role of coach and mentor
• Provide support in inputs through analysis and maintenance of pricing Terms of Trade
• Contributing to the development of innovative solutions to meet client needs
• Managing the development of generic pricing bases, pricing tools and models
• Maintaining up to date knowledge of local and global actuarial practices and trends
• Work effectively with a cross-functional team of experts from client markets, underwriting, and claims towards assessing the trends associated with an opportunity

Key Skills & Knowledge

• Excellent technical knowledge in all areas of pricing, experience analysis, and product development
• Ability to drive the team together, manage multiple projects and meeting required deadlines
• Fundamental understanding and knowledge of the ANZ (preferred) insurance and reinsurance industry and knowledge of main products and services offered by various insurance and reinsurance companies
• Knowledge of actuarial L&H modelling and data analytical software's SAS and R would be preferable
• Ability to use sound actuarial judgement in a commercial environment
• Good understanding of relevant actuarial best practices
• Organization, prioritization and planning skills

Candidate Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Life and Health Actuarial domain preferably in 2+ years of experience in pricing and experience studies
• Nearly qualified actuary with prior peopleproject management skills is a must
• Strong technical insurance/reinsurance experience ideally on ANZ markets
• Experience in L&H pricing, experience analysis, actuarial product design (including application of any actuarial pricing tools)
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
