VAM Systems is a Business Consulting, IT Solutions and Services company VAM Systems is currently looking for Technical Product Owner Expert for our UAE operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions: Bachelor's or Master's degree A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in the information and telecommunication technology industry, with practical process management responsibility 3-5 years' experience with digital transformation [business and technology transformation] must have worked on legacy to 'new era/digital' transformation, including scoping MVP Worked in agile design and delivery, CI/CD environment and experience in designing large-scale high performance and distributed web applications Should ideally have been a Product Owner Technical skills Required: Essential skills in order to be successful in the role Possesses a strong understanding of the digital ecosystem (eg self-service, self-care and e-commerce) Possesses strong leadership traits and is able to negotiate and influence business alignment with the IT technology strategy Experience with agile delivery.
Experience with Agile product development methodologies Solid business acumen and a structured analytical thinker Good motivational and leadership skills and able to set the direction in a startup environment Ability to effectively communicate results, insights, and key takeaways to Executive Management Strong relationship management skills, high degree of cultural intelligence (CQ) and strong influencing skills Possesses a consulting and design thinking mindset to support as well as challenge the business Able to act as change agent to facilitate the coordination efforts between business and IT Desirable Experience in global and/or domestic telecom services or with digital players Experience working in large scale transformation projects Responsibilities Accountable & responsible for the successful scoping of the business requirements / artifacts Works in close collaboration with the business segments, digital and CE teams to create business propositions such as products and services and CE journeys Clearly communicates the business benefits and negotiates propositions and value when necessary Works with the Enterprise Architecture (EA) team to communicate the architecture benefits of chosen approaches to business and to agree on timelines Ensures that appropriate analysis of the requirements is carried out, that the requirements are well-shaped and written in such a manner that they cover all the business/technical requirements to help the EA team work on the right solutions Collaborates with architecture, engineering, and service management teams, to ensure the overall backlogs are balanced to achieve a scalable and optimized user experience optimized, stable, and performant technology product, that continually meets business needs, ensuring NFR's (Non Functional Requirements) and System enablers are considered and captured, and cascaded to backlogs Works with peers within the business teams and the IT teams to ensure awareness of the architectural aspect Proposes potential adoption of new thinking and technologies [supported by EA] to address business needs across the organization Works with stakeholders to articulate and affirm the implications of organizational business strategies on the architecture The key purpose of the role is to have someone able to understand, assess, and decompose prioritized Epics and Features, (with a focus on Minimum Viable Products (MVPs)) and facilitate the development of user stories to guide the business towards a defined future state The role entails a high degree of interaction with the commercial teams (from Consumer/B2C and Enterprise/B2B teams) and IT Enterprise architects with a medium to long-term view of the Product Roadmap, ensuring close alignment to external sources (where applicable), like vendor partnerships, and emerging technologies within the sector, industry, and market Strong collaboration, facilitation and coordination skills are key to be successful in this role The person taking on the role will be expected to ensure medium term planning closely aligned with Business goals and objectives, driven from a focus on maximizing value for both users and customers The person taking on the role will also be expected to combine the requirements of both Consumer and Enterprise teams into a single release for the company; and carry out prioritization when required.
In this role collaboration with the business teams is paramount to ensure that a joint plan/roadmap/priorities are defined to allow the IT/Technical team to effectively translate them into technical requirements that will serve as inputs to the execution carried out by the delivery and vendor teams The role requires a good understanding of the business strategy, the business objectives and the supporting systems and processes/journeys across key business areas The role also entails promoting piloting and testing areas where new trends and technologies can be adopted, and leading their potential adoption, in collaboration with the business teams, with a clear articulation and measurement of their respective potential benefits Will be responsible for ensuring business requirements gathering, decomposition of Epics & Features and facilitation of user stories development to reach the delivery and business objectives of the Greenfield Program Joining time frame: (15 - 30 days) The selected candidates shall join VAM Systems - UAE and shall be deputed to one of the Organizations in UAE.
