Bachelor of Engineering/Technology in Computer Science/ Information Technology from AICTE/Approved Institute/University M Sc Computer/IT/ MCA/ DOEACC 'B' level

TGT (Punjabi) Reserved for SC BA and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR BA with at least 500/o marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (BEd) OR BA with at least 45°Ai marks and one year B.

Ed in accordance with NCTE regulations issued from time to time in this regard OR Senio Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and four year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B El Ed) OR Senior Secondary (or iti equivalent) with at least 50°/o marks and 4 year BA or BA Ed OR BA/B Sc with at least 50°/o marks and 1-year B Ed (Special Education) AN[ Pass in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) to be conducted by the appropriate Govt in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose

Sainik School is located in the palace of the erstwhile maharaja of Kapurthala. The palace was built in 1908 on the pattern of Versailles built by Louis- the xiv of France. The Jagatjit palace at present houses Sainik School, Kapurthala (total area measuring 1961 kanals and 18 marlas).Sainik School Kapurthala was inaugurated on 8th July, 1961 by the then Defence Minister V.K.Krishna Menon ,with the objective of preparing boys academically, physically and mentally to join NDA. It is a fully residential school for boys only ,providing public school education.
