Dark Room Attendant : i) 10+2 With Science (Chemistry and Physics) or its equivalent from a recognized Board of School Education/Institution ii) Two years National Trade/Apprenticeship Certificate course in the trade from an ITI or from an Institution duly recognized by the Central/ State Government.
iii) Two years practical experience in the trade from a Govt Press/an ISO certified Private Printing Press
Clerk/ Accountant –cum Clerk : i) Should have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent from a recognized Board of School Education/University ii) Should possess a minimum speed of 30 words per minute in English typewriting or 25 words per minute in Hindi Typewriting on computer iii) Should have the knowledge of word processing in computer as prescribed by the recruiting authority.
Senior Scientific/Technical Assistant : Master Degree in any branch of Science or MSc /MA (Geography with Remote Sensing and GIS specialization ) from any recognized University Institution / Organization OR Bachelor Degree in Engineering/BTech from a recognized University by the Central/HP Govt or Diploma in Engineering with five years of Experience in related field from any reputed University / Institution / Organization.
Data Entry Operator : a) 10+2 from a recognized University or Board b) Should possess a minimum speed of 25 words per minute in Hindi Typing and 30 words per minute in English Typing c) Should have basic knowledge of Computer Operation with One Year Diploma in Computer application/Training Provided that the knowledge of operation of computer and typewriting shall be essential for recruitment
Fitter/ Electrician/Sub Station Attendant : Matric from a recognized Board by the Govt.
of HP with technical qualification of ITI in Electrician / Wireman Trade done through a regular Course from the Institution recognized by the HP Govt
Video Film Editor : i) At least 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized University/ Board ii) Must possess degree in Film Editing from an University/Institution recognized by the Central Government/Government of Himachal Pradesh OR Diploma in Film Editing with at least 3 years duration from an Institution recognized by the Central Government /Govt of Himachal Pradesh.

About Himachal Pradesh Ssc
The Government of Himachal Pradesh in exercise of the powers conferred under article 162 read with proviso of Article 309 of the Constitution of India constituted the H.P. Staff Selection Commission with its headquarters at Hamirpur vide notification No. Per (AP.B) B (1)-1/98 dated 6th October 1998. The commission has been entrusted with the responsibility of making recommendations to all class-III services/posts including such posts on contract basis under the HP Govt. Besides this, the commission has also to make recommendations to all such class-III posts of the state public sector Undertakings, Boards, Corporations, Universities and Local Bodies, etc., as may be entrusted to the Board by such Boards/ Corporations/ Universities and Local Bodies etc. The commission receives various requisitions of Clerk, Junior Office Assistant, Senior Scale Stenographer, Junior Scale Stenographer, Steno Typist, Computer Operator and Data Operator from different departments or different state public sector Undertakings, Boards, Corporations, Universities and Local Bodies.
