We are currently seeking a technology lead with front office experience in particular hands on in managing OMS and trading platform for a global asset manager This role will be responsible for working with Global Trading, Investment Oversight, Internal IT, Risk, Legal, Procurement/Onboarding/TPRM, ION and CRD teams The role will have focus on maintaining, building out and supporting current state along with additional focus on transformation This role will be an exciting opportunity to lead the core team managing the infrastructure of our Trading platformThe successful candidate will have strong technical Trading background with hands on experience of running BAU and also major upgrade of the OMS/ Trading platform.

In addition is well versed with Investment Compliance, Regulatory Compliance mandates as well as a Techno-functional SME And is able to build partnerships, foster close collaboration and work hand in hand with the business and technology teams The candidate must possess an inherent understanding of technologies, relationships between technology, transformation, data, operations, in order to deliver, build and support our current and transformation end stateWhat you will be responsible forAs the technology lead for Tech BA, you will

• Act as hands-on leader can build a solid operational foundation, develop short and long-term strategies that drive operational excellence and show the ability to lead and execute that vision
• Work collaboratively with all teams within the IT group to ensure full end to end solutioning.
  
  
• Participate in the Trading system upgrade to the latest version
• Participate in the Trading transformation program owning specific tasks and deliverables
• Participate in BUAT, CUAT and cross functional testing for various projects/programs
• Be able to support L2 when required for SME knowledge
• Help support and improve the demand management process.
  
  
• Own some of the 3rd party vendor relationships and due diligence
• Drive process changes to make the organization more pro-active
• Participate in the Production releases/ checkouts as part of BAU Demand management and support

What we valueThese skills will help you succeed in this Techno-Functional role:

• Solid experience (15 yrs+) as a business analyst/ business systems analyst within the front office
• Understanding of all asset classes (Equity, FX, OTC, Fixed Income)
• Experience working/navigating effectively a very matrixed organization

Experience working with webservices, IBM MQ middleware.

• Good understanding with hands on experience managing the trading system interfaces and technical architecture
• Proven track record of supporting large and complex application upgrades or transformation programs
• Highly organized, and ability to manage multiple related projects and elevate the team knowledge and skills level
• Detailed knowledge of the Asset Management or Investment Management industry, buy-side trading is knowledge is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and confidence in dealing with all levels of the organization, both internal and external
• Flexibility in work schedule
• Solid presentation skills

• Qualified degree
• Financial Services background, including investment or asset management
• SQL
