As an engineer for VMware Cloud UI, you will work with top UI talent, contribute to VMware's multi-cloud strategy, and deliver value to our customers through the VMware Cloud Console The VMware Cloud Console is our launchpad for all VMware multi-cloud infrastructure, solutions, and services Your efforts will directly contribute to VMware's growth strategySuccess in the Role: What are the performance goals over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completingWithin your first month:

• Start building relationships with our partners in Product Management, User Experience, Backend Engineering, and Information Experience
• Learn about our Multi-cloud strategy and how we deliver it through the VMware Cloud Console.
  
  
• Understand existing processes and the motivations that put them into place
• Complete training to help you deliver secure, accessible, and well-designed UI
• Setup your development environment, merge code, and deploy your changes to production

Within your first three months:

• Work with tech leads to deliver new functionality on the VMware Cloud Console
• Become proficient with our CI/CD process which includes automated build, testing, and deployment
• Establish your own career plan to ensure continued growth within VMware.
  
  

Within your first six months:

• Take ownership of one or more features, coordinating between stakeholders and taking the feature through design, implementation, and enablement
• Provide technical solutions to help our application scale and to improve development efficiency
• Mentor junior developers and new team members

The Work: What type of work will you be doing What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basisAs a UI developer on the team, you will:

• Develop new UI features using Typescript, Angular, RxJS, GraphQL, and Clarity
• Review and provide feedback on UX designs.
  
  
• Deliver your features with test coverage to ensure we keep the quality high
• Perform code reviews for your fellow team members
• Drive innovations to improve developer efficiency and product evolution
