Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Council, since 1972, is working towards providing quality education through council schools in all the districts of the state Under which Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Council is discharging its obligation to provide education in rural and urban areas of the state through its 1,13,500 primary and 45,700 upper primary schools Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Council is disciplining all educational and administrative responsibilities, with the determination of course for quality education, construction of books, appointment of teachers in schools and service conditions in the field of primary education The Council is also doing important work in the interest of the teachers while providing a major role in the regulation and assembly of the large body of primary education in the state of Uttar Pradesh From this perspective, the Council facilitates transfer of teachers working in remote areas of the state through transitional transfers to the desired districts.
