Vmware Administrator Job In Macropace Technologies In Cochin / Kochi / Ernakulam, Thiruvananthapuram / Trivandrum

• Skills Good understanding of VMware vSphere, vCenter and related tools
• In-depth knowledge of Linux flavors such as RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc
• Responsible for designing, building, and administering Linux servers in virtual, physical, and cloud platforms
• Experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SMTP, NTP, SVN, Syslog, FTP/SFTP, etc
• Experience with scripting tools such as Bash/Python/Pearl etc Experience in user, disk, process, and patch management Experience in managing automated processes using Ansible.
  
  
• Identify and Troubleshoot ESX and vCenter related issues including HA, DRS, Live Migration, etc,
• Perform ESXi Patching, Upgrade Good Knowledge of vCenter PSC, LCM, and UpdateManager
• Create VM Templates, work on OS Hardening and Perform OS-level Troubleshooting
• Manage VRA Infrastructure and handle Day to Day tasks.
  
  
• knowledge of PowerCLI would be an added advantage
• Identify and Troubleshoot VMWare vSAN related issues and perform day-to-day operations
• Has a good understanding of networking concepts and the ITIL process Maintain best practices in managing systems and services across all environments
• Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment Strong problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
