They will partner with business stakeholders to identify and resolve system issues and pursue opportunities for increased efficiencyThis position provides an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who loves diving intoa breadth ofWorkday configuration (reporting, business processes, security, implementation of new features and third-party system integrations) and is interested in working across multiple Workday moduleswith functional users This position would also provide exposure to HR and Finance business operations and an opportunity to rub shoulders with leaders within the organizationThis role calls for excellent problem-solving abilities, ability to visualize business scenarios and a strong understanding of HR and Finance business functions The role would require strong written and verbal English communication skills.
The role would also involve overlapping hours in the EST time zoneESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Support maintenance of Workday HCM and/or Financials configuration, including setup and functional configuration
- Gather requirements for, create, and maintaindata and configuration changesrequired to accommodate rapid organizationaland business process requirements
- Work closely with the business teams in USA and India to understand system pain points, determine root causes, and develop solutions to addressshort and long-termissues
- Implement solutions through successful design, development, testing, and deployment with required documentation
- Manage support tickets ensuringthorough, timely workandcompliance with documentation procedures in ticket tracking system
- Leverage business knowledge to identify opportunities for process improvements
- Design and develop custom reports as required forbusiness users
- Configure and administer security in compliance with policies and procedures
- Support Workday Release activities
- Act with speed, while balancing quality and compliance
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 - 8 years for total experience, experience of Workday HCM or Financialssupportexperience preferred
- 4+ years experience with a Finance ERP systemsupport role (Oracle, PeopleSoft)
- Understanding of HR and/or Finance processes, procedures and best practices
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Proven communication skills, with well-developed verbal, written and presentation ability
- Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, good judgment, mature and positive attitude
- Ability to exercise discretion with highly confidential information
- Attend to detail with accuracy
