The PositionRole and Responsibilities:We are looking for a Workflow Solution Consultant for Roche Diagnostics, India & Neighboring Markets (RDIN) in the Strategic Projects and Healthcare Consulting vertical reporting to the Lead - AutomationYou are an expert in operational excellence with focus on clinical laboratoriesAs part of the pre-sales, you are required to understand the clinical lab processes both within and outside the lab With this understanding of the various processes, people and technologies used in clinical laboratories (across Core lab, Pathology lab and Molecular Biology Lab etc) you are required to create value driven total solutions for customers of RDIN in acquisition and retention sale cyclesYou provide expert analysis of laboratory workflow processes, identify improvement areas according to required key performance indicators (KPIs) so as to anticipate customer's needs/ pain points.
In the course of your work, you simulate various workflow scenarios, design laboratory layouts and prepare customer presentations to support the development of Roche solutions and implementationIn addition, you will establish standard tools and training modules for affiliates to strengthen their customer engagement skillsWorkflow consulting
- Discuss & understand the current state of the customer to help design the future state with RDIN
- Responsible for solution consultancy by analyzing laboratory workflow processes and identifying improvement areas (eg customer presentations, lean assessment, lean lab consultancy, green field laboratory project design)
- Be a part of the team Implementing the solution along with the application team.
- Conduct consulting projects and work closely with sales team members to create value for customers in different phases of the buying cycle
- Work on Healthcare Consulting Projects to deliver on Lean and Six Sigma Consultation
- Perform product demos to customers
Lean Expertise
- Knowledge of Lean Thinking is critical
- Ability to use Lean tools such as VSM, Process Maps, A3
Training
- The ability to conduct Training Programmes for Internal Colleagues and Customers on various product benefits
Track Master & Health check Assessment for Automation Projects:
- Conduct health check assessments for new laboratory automation projects within 6 months of installation
- Be the trackmaster to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction of the assigned Automation projects

Experience and Skills Required:Good knowledge of the clinical laboratory is importantGood understanding of the Lean and Laboratory IT landscape is advantageousGraduate Degree or Post-graduate Degree in life sciences/lab medicine with 5 to 7 years of experience is requiredCompetency with spreadsheets (excel) and powerpoint is critical for this roleGood interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a diverse team is important.
