Qualification: M.
A Sociology or Social Work / MSc Social Sciences / Agriculture / Fisheries Extension/ Home Science / Home - Extension / Fisheries /Aquaculture / Life Science / Zoology Experiences in field farm survey, working with fishers/farmers, field investigations and proficiency in computers browsing and statistical analyses are desirable Candidate knowing both Tamil language and English is preferred.
B Contractual Technical AssistantPay@ Rs15,000 /- (Consolidated) per month
Qualification: Graduate in Science or Social studies / BA Sociology or Social Work / Agriculture / Fisheries Science & Extension/ Home Science & Home Science Extension/ Life Sciences/Aquaculture / Zoology
Experiences in field farm survey, working with fishers/farmers, field investigations and good proficiency in computers, browsing is desirable.
Candidate knowing both Tamil language and English is preferred Desirable Knowledge in fish farming / aquaculture and field work
Age Limit :Maximum 35 years for men and 40 years for women as on date of interview Age limits are relaxable for SC / ST / OBC candidates as per rules

The Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture serves as the nodal agency for the development of brackishwater aquaculture in the country. The Headquarters of the Institute is located at Chennai with an Experimental Field Station at Muttukadu, about 30 km south of Chennai. The Institute has one Research Centre at Kakdwip in West Bengal.
